Snow Returns, Joins Cancer Fight
The international reggae industry is buzzing with talk about the return of Canadian artiste Daddy Snow to the dancehall game with the single, Shame, after a 15-year hiatus.
Produced by Florida-based Kent Jones and Cool & Dre, Shame was recorded with former Black Uhuru singer, Mykal Rose.
“It is a song really about where I have been in my life emotionally. I have been far away and I just expressed it in this single,” the 44-year-old veteran said. He recently released a video for the project which is the first single from a work-in-progress EP.
But Daddy Snow is not just focusing solely on music, he participates in philanthropic activities as well. Herecently cemented a partnership with the cancer organisation Karen E. Mumford cancer foundation (KEM), a national non-profit group that provides financial assistance and debt relief to cancer patients for their revolving expenses.
