Maxi Priest is a British reggae singer. He is known as \u201cThe King of Lover\u2019s Rock\u201d. His first major album, the self- titled Maxi Priest (1988), established him as one of the top British reggae singers. He is one of only two British reggae acts to have an American Billboard #1 and reach the American Top 10 in 1991. His duet with Shaggy in 1996, \u201cThat Girl\u201d, was a world-wide hit.<\/p>\n
Shaggy is a Jamaican-American reggae singer who takes his nickname from Scooby-doo\u2019s companion. His first big hit in 1993 \u201cOh Carolina\u201d was followed by \u201cBoombastic in 1995, then 2001 worldwide #1 hit singles \u201cIt Wasn\u2019t Me\u201d & \u201cAngel\u201d. The album \u201cHot Shot\u201d hit #1 on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n
Snow is an award-winning Canadian reggae singer. Snow is the acronym for \u201cSuper Notorious Outrageous Whiteboy\u201d. His 1993 album \u201c12 Inches of Snow\u201d sold over 8 million records world-wide with the single \u201cInformer\u201d remaining #1 on the Billboard charts for 7 weeks. \u201cInformer\u201d was recorded twice in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best selling reggae single in US history.<\/p>\n

Tickets are on sale at all the Western Union outlets and Funky Tangs. General admission tickets are CI$35 advance and CI$50 at the door. VIP tickets including food, drink, and elevated stage front seating are set at CI$150.<\/p>\n
Scott McLean of Plan B Marketing is quoted as saying \u201cThis is the biggest and best talent line up that I have seen in my four years in Cayman and we are glad to be a part of it.\u201d Mr. McLean went on to thank the sponsors including Cayman Distributors, Cayman Airways, Comfort Suites, Caymanian Compass, and Vibe FM for making the event possible.<\/p>\n
The promoter Issimo is also adding a separate stage at the venue that will feature DJ Adika and DJ Alexi playing old school hip hop and house to complete the night\u2019s music experience.<\/p>\n
